You Just Need to Ask

This is my response to a friend who shared of a recent dream she had.....of a chair in her deepest soul....where Jesus came and sat down, bringing such deep peace.  What did it all mean?

Why not ask him a question and wait for his response?

Jesus, if you are sitting on a chair in my heart, what do you want to tell me today?

I love you and I want to live in you; to be in an intimate relationship, where you will always know how deeply I love you.  I made you and love you just as you are.  I know how hard it is for you to see yourself as I see you, but I'd love to share more of my perspective with you.  You just need to ask.

I love you and I want to heal all your hurts. When you get tired of nursing those wounds yourself, just bring them to me.  I want to deep clean the infection that keeps them festering.  I know all about what was said and done to you. Let me heal your mind.  I know you can't clean yourself up alone.  When you get tired of trying, you just need to ask.

I love you and would love to help you find your purpose; so you can go out into the world each day to shine and make it a better place, even if for just one other person.  I want you to love others as I have loved you; in the same way that I'm loving you daily.  I know you are about protecting self and can't love others unconditionally all the time.  When your love runs dry and you need some of mine, you just need to ask.

I love you and would love to create peace in all your relationships.  When you feel conflicted, bring it to me and we can talk it out;  to see what's yours to deal with and what's theirs to let go of.  I'm all about finding resolution.  I know how small, petty things can hinder peace.  I also know you need more of me to navigate conflict.  You just need to ask.

I love you and would love to houseclean the clutter and junk that you don't need in your heart for health and happiness.  If you would simply loosen your grip and ask me to clean for you, I could remove all the extra "stuff".  I could even help you get rid of that dank smell in the far corner.  I know it's too much for you to clean up on your own.  You just need to ask.

I love you and would love for you to play and create more freely; to find joy in the playground of my world.  There is beauty in the everyday gifts all around that I place for your enjoyment, when you slow down enough to notice and appreciate them.  I'd love to open your eyes so you can see more of what is still hidden.  You just need to ask.

I love you and want to transform your heart into my temple, my dwelling place where I can reside forever.  In your heart, I'd love to establish my kingdom on earth where my will can be done as it is in heaven.  I know that cleaning yourself up for me is impossible.  That's why I've already paid the full price at the cross.  You just need to ask.

I love you deeply and love pursuing more of your heart.  Thanks for asking and taking the time to soak in more of my love for you.

Jesus Christ
